When the liquid pressure reaches the air pressure, the Versamatic_FP pump reaches a point of balance and stalls without the need for bypasses or overload protection.Versamatic_FP Diaphragm Pumps pump can run dry indefinately and have the ability to self prime to 7 metres or more in some cases. They can handle viscosities up to 20000 Centipoise as standard and some Versamatic_FP models can handle cPs into the 100's of 1000's. Versamatic Food Processing Pumps

Elima-Matic® food-processing pumps are built with FDA-compliant materials so they can be specified in applications requiring FDA approval. The innovative Elima-Matic air valve system virtually eliminates icing, stalling, and the need for lubrication. Elima-Matic FDA pumps are available in 1/2", 1", 1-1/2", 2", and 3" sizes with an optional Versa-Sense™ leak detection system.
